SBTi Commitment to CO₂ Reduction
The Trisa Group is committed to science-based climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement. By joining the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we support the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 °C and reaching net-zero emissions.
- Reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 42 % by 2030 (base year: 2023)
- Reduce Scope 3 emissions by 25 % by 2030
- Achieve net-zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2050
Every year, we prepare a CO₂ balance sheet covering Scope 1 to 3 to transparently track our climate impact.

Climate change and plastic pollution
Climate change and plastic waste affect us all. Trisa Electronics is taking targeted actions to improve the situation.
Packaging with less plastic
Since early 2019, we’ve been eliminating unnecessary plastic and Styrofoam packaging for new products. Instead, we use sustainable materials like molded fiber trays and tissue paper. Cables and manuals are no longer wrapped in plastic – helping to noticeably reduce waste.
Responsible disposal
Trisa Electronics offers free disposal of old appliances in accordance with Swiss standards. As a vRG partner of SENS, we actively support the national recycling system.

Solar energy
On an area of 1,404 m², we generate around 400,000 kWh of solar power annually – enough to supply electricity for about 100 single-family homes.
Groundwater cooling and rainwater use
Natural cooling with surface water saves around 4.8 million kWh of energy per year – equivalent to the consumption of 980 homes. We also collect rainwater, used for example to flush toilets, saving around 3,000 m³ of potable water annually.
Eco-friendly mobility
Our field staff in Austria already use hybrid vehicles, and a charging station for electric cars is available in Triengen. More information about our environmental initiatives can be found in this brochure.
